INTERFACE NEW ZEALAND NATIONAL OFFICE CHANGES (March 16, 2013)
We farewell Chris Reid and welcome his replacement Gary Wong to the IFG New Zealand national office. Chris established the IFG New Zealand operations in 2004 and has been an integral part of the growth of the IFG business in New Zealand. Chris has decided that it is time to move on and look for new challenges in his life. We are sorry to see Chris move on and wish him every success in the future.
Gary joined IFG in March 2013 and has spent the last month with Chris ensuring that there is a smooth transition of duties. Gary’s background is in business and finance. He is a Chartered Accountant with a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Auckland. His initial career was with one of the Big Four chartered accounting firms where he specialised in the provision of services to the bank and financial services sector. He left there to take up an eighteen month treasury systems consulting assignment at the Reserve Bank of New Zealand. For the 15 years prior to joining IFG he has held various senior finance executive positions in NZ public listed, international and privately owned companies. Gary is looking forward to continuing to grow the IFG business in New Zealand.
