CASE STUDY: THE CASH FLOW SOLUTION FOR FUNDING GROWTH

A Bank recently referred a customer to IFG that had commenced a new business venture providing maintenance services to a large multi-national company. While the company waited to be paid for services provided, the steadily increasing growth in their business was creating a shortfall in cash-flow.

IFG Wellington worked closely with the company to understand the terms/processes of their supply contract and the specific system they were required to use for the contract. As a result IFG Wellington was able to structure a facility that ensured the business had access to the working capital it needed.

With processes having since settled down with the main contractor, including payments being received on a timelier basis, the company's cash flow has improved. However, as their turnover continues to grow, the company experiences cash flow shortfalls from time to time and continues to use the IFG Facility as and when required to generate the additional cash they need to ensure they are able to meet their operational expenses on a timely basis and fund their continued business growth.
